Playbook: the solo operator

One truck, a book of recurring residential clients. Set it up once and let the week book itself.

This is the archetype Mour was built for: one truck, one operator, a book of recurring residential clients. No dispatcher, no crew board — just you and a route that should already be in your head before you pull out of the driveway. Here's how to make Mour hold that week for you.

Set up

Three things, in order:

  1. Services — the handful of things you actually do. A service is just a name; the price comes later, per client.
  2. Clients and addresses — add each regular client with their address. Pin the price for each service on that address, because the same job costs different money at different houses.
  3. Recurring cadence — on each address's service, set the recurrence: daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Those four cadences book the next visit for you automatically. A custom cadence is there for one-off scheduling but won't auto-book the next visit — use one of the four standard cadences for hands-off repeats. Recurring works on every plan, including free Hustler.

Set your working hours and any time-off so nothing books on a day you're not driving.

A day in Mour

Open Today. On Professional, tap Optimize Route when you've got two or more stops — Mour orders them by drive time and drops numbered pins on the map. Drive. At each stop, do the work, snap one completion photo, and tap Complete.

That single tap does three things: it logs your proof photo, it sends the customer a "done" text (Professional), and it books the next recurring visit forward automatically. The week walks itself.

Where it earns its keep

  • It remembers the week you'd otherwise carry in your head — and books the next visit the moment you finish the last one.
  • Proof on file. A completion photo is your answer when a customer says "you never showed."
  • Customer comms without a dispatcher. Scheduled and completed texts go out on your behalf, US numbers, outbound only.

Which plan

Hustler is the sweet spot: unlimited clients and jobs, outbound texts, route optimization, and the map view — everything a one-truck operation leans on day to day. Move up to Professional when you want Mour to draft your invoices on completion. Free Hustler is a real starting point while you're getting going — see the pricing page for its limits.
