Route optimization is available on Professional. It picks a sensible order for the day and gives you ETAs.
How to optimize
In the Today tab, when you have two or more scheduled jobs, an Optimize Route button appears at the top.
Tap it. A sheet asks you to pick a starting point:
- First job address — start from where the first job is.
- Current location — start from where you are right now.
- Home base — start from the address in your Business Profile.
Mour calculates an optimal sequence using estimated drive time and shows the result in a banner: "Route Optimized" with total drive time. Tap Accept Order to apply it, or Dismiss to keep your current order.
After accepting, ETAs appear on each job card in Today.
The map view
Open the map view via the map icon in the inbox header (Professional). You'll see:
- Numbered pins for each stop, in the optimized sequence (1, 2, 3...).
- A line connecting the pins in order.
- Tap any pin to open that job.
- A Navigate button on each stop, which hands off to your phone's Apple Maps or Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions.
What gets optimized
- Total drive time (not raw distance).
- Real road routes between stops, not straight-line distance.
- Time windows are respected: a job at 2pm won't get reordered to morning unless you also reschedule its time.
Good to know
Route optimization plans one day at a time, built for a single operator and one vehicle — there's no crew or skill-matching to juggle. For toll preferences, set those in your nav app when you hand off to Navigate.
Override anytime
You can drag-and-drop the Today list to reorder jobs after (or instead of) optimization. Your manual order sticks until you re-optimize.
When optimization isn't worth running
- One job day — nothing to optimize.
- All jobs at the same address — nothing to optimize.
- Jobs already in the order you prefer.
- If you have a strong relational reason for a non-optimal order ("Karen always first because she's expecting me at 9 sharp") — drag-reorder instead.
