Playbook: pest control

Quarterly and monthly treatment cycles that schedule themselves, proof-of-service photos, and notes that carry to the next visit.

Pest control runs on cycles, not one-offs: the quarterly perimeter, the monthly commercial account, the every-other-month rodent program. The whole job is remembering who's due and showing up with proof. Mour turns the cycle into a thing that schedules itself.

Set up

  • Treatment cycles as recurring jobs. On each address's service, set the cadence — monthly or, for a quarterly program, leave it as your repeating schedule per site. Complete a treatment and the next one books forward automatically. (Recurring runs on every plan. Use one of the standard cadences for cycles you want booked automatically — a custom cadence won't book the next visit on its own.)
  • Proof-of-service photos on. HOAs and property managers want evidence the visit happened. You can require a photo for completion on an address.
  • Notes for the next tech-you. Use the job note to flag what you saw — "evidence at the back fence," "bait stations need refill next visit."

A day in Mour

The cycle puts the day's due accounts into Today on its own. Tap Optimize Route to order the stops by drive time and follow the numbered pins on the map. Treat the property, snap a proof photo, jot a note about what you found, and tap Complete. The note rides along with the address so it's waiting for you next quarter, and the customer gets a completion text (Professional).

Where it earns its keep

  • Cycles that schedule themselves — no spreadsheet tracking who's due in March.
  • Proof for HOAs and property managers — a date-stamped photo on every service.
  • Continuity — notes from last visit surface on the job, so you treat the property with context, not from scratch.
  • Efficient routing across a spread-out day of accounts.

Which plan

Hustler covers the routing, the map, and the outbound texts that a multi-stop treatment day needs. Move to Professional if you invoice commercial accounts and want those invoices drafted on completion.
