Handyman work is never the same job twice. One morning it's a faucet, the next it's a deck board and a screen door. The two things that bite a multi-trade operator are showing up without the right part and forgetting to bill the extra you did on site. A prep note on each job and Mour's auto-drafted invoicing close both gaps.
Set up
Two tools do the heavy lifting here:
- Prep notes on the job (every plan) — on each job, jot what to bring: "Bring basin wrench," "Load the 2-inch deck screws." The note shows up the morning of, so you load the truck right.
- Linked services with requisites (Professional) — when one service depends on another, link them: mark a service as a prerequisite (do first) or a follow-up (do after) of another, each Required or a Recommendation, and optionally only once per address. Add the main service to a job and Mour flags the service it depends on.
Pin per-address prices on your services as usual.
A day in Mour
Open the morning's jobs and your prep note is right there on each one, with any linked services flagged. Load the truck correctly and drive.
On site, when the customer asks you to also rehang the gutter, add that service to the job before you complete it. When you tap Complete, Mour drafts the invoice and picks up both line items — the work you booked and the upsell you added. Review, send it as HTML email (14-day default due date), and record the payment when it lands. Mour never processes the money; it records the result.
Where it earns its keep
- Prep notes mean you arrive with the right parts — fewer second trips.
- The on-site upsell doesn't get forgotten because it's already a line item the moment you complete.
- Photo proof on every plan documents the before and after of work that's easy to dispute.
Which plan
Professional. Auto-drafted invoicing and service requisites live here, along with routing and client texts; your prep notes and photo proof are on every plan.
